Freetown Pitch Night: Sierra Leone’s Mohamed Bangura, Chief Executive Officer of the Kingmedo Tech. Solutions, a software developer, a computer teacher and a lecturer has won the Freetown Pitch Night, Organized by Innovations Axis, held at the Limkokwing University on August 31st, 2022

Mohamed Bangura is the Chief Executive Officer of the Kingmedo Tech. Solutions, a software developer, a computer teacher and a lecturer. He holds a degree in Information Technology from the University of Makeni (UNIMAK).

He has made remarkably and tremendous progress in the development of software for school administration systems and recently launching two which were the SierraGrade and HRKingmedo App.

In 2017, Bangura emerged as run up in the UNDP Social Good Summit, (Youth Innovation Competition), held at Njala university, Bo.

He has inspired many students in the area of ICT and Computer Science. As a very young man, he has taught in five schools and three colleges in the past 6 years.

Currently, he is the Head of Computer Science Department at the Mahad Aali College of Technology & Professional Courses, situated at Looking Town, Grafton.

Bangura said he is very much grateful to Innovation Axis and its management for providing the platform on which young entrepreneurs to show case their invaluable talents which might bring about development for the nation as a whole.
