Sierra Leonean afrobeat singer Alhaji Massie Kallon, popularly known as Supa Massie, a member of the Afroseas group based in Hong Kong founded by him, and popular Rwandan artist, Trisyo shut down the Hong Kong Hip Hop Awards Night called Whats Good Award Night I Hong Kong alongside Hong Kong-born-and-raised fastest growing artist JB.

The Whats Good Music Awards Night Hip hop awards night is Hong Kong’s first hip-hop awards night hosted by Whatsgood music.

Sierra Leonean-born Supa Massie alongside Rwanda Trisyo and Hong Kong trending star JB shut down the awards night with amazing dance moves and performance.

The Afroseas group was nominated in 6 categories at the awards ceremony.

Super Massie told Salone Messenger, a public relation firm in Sierra Leone about the event, he said “ I feel so blessed, grateful, and fulfilled that I am able to push my country, Sierra Leone, into Hong Kong. It has opened more for me and the country, We are the only afro beat group in Hong Kong.”

Born and raised in Freetown, Alhaji Massie Kallon otherwise known as Supa Massie is a popularly Sierra Leonean afrobeat artist currently based in Hong Kong. Supa Massie came to the spotlight in December 2020 contributing to the song, Ayee ft trisyo.

Supa Massie has Performed at Festivals Across Hong Kong including WHATSGOOD MUSIC AWARDS and the African music festival in Malaysia Supa Massie was named diaspora artist of the year award at KAFAA AWARDS SEASON 2

Wilfredo Alconaba otherwise known by his stage name as JB is Hong Kong-born-and-raised rapper who rhymes in tone-perfect Cantonese, with street slang. JB is also a Bboy known for his popping and locking and a well-known graffiti writer.

Jb is the first Asian to do an afrobeat alongside the afroseas group, JB was featured on the song title “To The Boat” with Afroseas afrobeats stars Supa Massie and Trisyo

Rangira Arnold Tresor popularly known as Trisyo is a Rwandan Afrobeat rapper and singer who is also a member of the biggest Afrobeat group in Hong Kong called the afroseas. Trisyo recorded his debut song titled “Ayee” popular among his songs are Tender Loving, Baby na fire, Rotate, and Coupe Decale

The Afroseas is one of the most popular Afrobeat groups in Asia and represents the Afrobeat genre and rising Rwandan and Sierra Leonean flags in Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific.
