A popular young Sierra Leonean blogger and book author, Hamza Koroma, has taken on his social media page to share epic photos of his first book which according to him focus on the sustainable development goals in Post-war Sierra Leone and how to achieve them. Hamza Koroma is currently working on his third project and has openly confirmed that it would be a Joint project. He plans on sharing the identity of his partner upon the completion of the work.
“I’m currently wrapping up on my third project and most of y’all still haven’t read some of my works!
My books are mostly dealing with Development Goals in Post-war Sierra Leone and how to achieve them.
During my research I came across some loop holes both from that of the government partners and the private cooperations as well.
I intentionally focused on the Sustainable Development Goal (SDGs) which is a holistic program that covers every aspect of development, ranging from eradicating poverty to sustainable relationships within countries and one of my suggestions was that the United Nations could achieve the Sustainable Development Goals in Sierra Leone, if only they recognise the presence of the cultural diversity that is in Sierra Leone and the line in which the government is working with. Government needs to be incorporating the Sustainable Development Goals in their policies and urge ministries and organization to follow the same trend. I am pleading to Ministries, organizations, government owned companies, CSO etc. to read this piece of work as it covers issues of development in the country. As a submission point I believe that the Alternative type of development approach is the best for third world countries in general and Sierra Leone in particular. Thank you for reading.
